We love Christmas time. We always decorate the house the Friday or Saturday after Thanksgiving. This year Julia is big enough to help with all the decorating, and Andrew was mesmerized by the lights.

Bally the elf comes back to town
Bally the elf is BACK! Yay for 1 month of good behavior and leverage for Mom and Dad. This year Bally came back from the North Pole with snow covered donuts and socks to keep our feet warm, cause it is cold in the North Pole. Valerie's elf landed at our house too so they could enjoy their North Pole breakfast together. Valerie named her elf Vincent, so both of their names could start with V. So cute!
Family Photos
We took these photos on Thanksgiving Day. They turned out so good. Who needs a professional photographer?!
Thanksgiving Day
We had a great and eventful Thanksgiving day. Our day started at 4:45 a.m. when Julia woke up with a 102.7 fever. We decided to take her to the ER since it was Thanksgiving Day. She and Jeff went and Andrew and I stayed home. Turns out she has strep and got a strong dose of antibiotics. She was pretty puny all day, but pulled through pretty good.
When she got home she headed straight for bed, she slept for a while then got up and watched the parade. She loved all the Broadway shows at the beginning of the parade. After the parade we headed to my parents house for the Turkey Day party. EVERYBODY was there, I have never seen my parents house so full. We did all the things that make a great Thanksgiving . . . eating, football, games, a craft and a movie. We were exhausted at the end of the day, but happy!
The WHOLE family!
Jeff and Mom
Aunt Elizabeth and Andrew
Grandpa Hansen and Carter
Trying to decide which Black Friday deals we need to get!

Bear Creek Fall Festival
Grandma has been taking Julia to the Bear Creek Fall Festival since she was 2. This was her first year to attend as a student. Jeff worked with the Dad's Club doing security and I worked a shift at the bean bag toss. Julia's favorite part was the cake walk and bouncing on the bounce houses. Elementary school is so fun!

October Instagram
So I am officially on the Instagram bandwagon. I love it. Here are the photos from October. I think the award goes to The Family of Pirates. Who doesn't love a family that acts silly together. Arrrggggg.
