Andrew's Room

Andrew's room is finally complete. It is a good thing, because the doctor told me today that Andrew is going to be here earlier that we thought. At least the room is ready and the dresser is filled with sweet baby boy clothes.

Baby Boy Shower

Jamie and Kim were so sweet to throw us a shower for Andrew. It was a family shower that everyone was invited to. We ate some great Italian food and the cake was delicious. The gifts were mostly clothes, which is exactly what we needed. We had a great evening.

And the Birthday Party Continues

Finally Julia's actual birthday is here. And the day was full of activities. We started the morning with a room full of balloons. Jeff and I spent the majority of the evening before blowing up 72 balloons. We thought we would be smart and put the balloons in her room the morning of her birthday, just in case she woke up in the middle of the night she would not be scared. Well, in the process we woke her up at 5a.m. and basically ruined the surprise, but she still loved it!



Then we headed downstairs to open presents. It was an American Girl kind of birthday.




At lunch Grandma, Julia and I went to the American Girl doll store. We ate lunch in the bistro and shopped for more birthday presents.






Then that evening we met the rest of the family for the final birthday event, dinner at the Olive Garden. Her everybody was there and she got to have spaghetti. It was a great day.

Fairy Ballerina Birthday Party

Julia wanted to have a fairy ballerina birthday party this year. I knew by the time her birthday got here I was going to be 8 months pregnant. So we found a place that would do everything and I am so glad I did. We played ballerina games, had cupcakes, heard a ballerina story and opened presents. The only thing I did was bring party favors and the birthday fairy ballerina.

Birthday Photo Shoot

Keeping with tradition we went to Portrait Innovations for our birthday photo shoot. Julia has become a pro in front of the camera. She did not take a bad picture, it was so hard to choose which pictures to print.

Breakfast with Grandpa

Grandpa picked up Julia this morning and took her for breakfast at IHOP before school. She was so excited she looked out the front door waiting for him for 10 minutes, even thought I kept telling her he was not going to pick her up until 7 a.m.

School Birtrhday Celebration

The first Friday each month at Julia's school they have a celebration for all the kids that a have a birthday that month. Julia was the only March birthday in her class. She loved all the attention.
