Rub a Dub Dub

Andrew is really starting to like bath time. He realized he can check himself out in the mirror and that is loads of fun at 12 weeks old. For me it is the best part of the day, I love the smell of his baby lotion and feetsy PJs make me happy.

3 months old

Andrew you are 3 months old today!
You are wearing Size 1 diapers and 3-6 months clothes. You are now taking a bottle 100% of the time.
You weigh 13 lbs and 14 ounces.
This month you went to your first movie with Grandma and Julia. You also went on your first trip to the library.
You are the easiest, sweetest baby. You are so content unless you are really hungry.
You are a good sleeper, you take a long nap during the day and are sleeping 7-8 hours each night on a pretty regular basis.
Mommy has been back at work for a week, you adjusted with no problem.
You smile and talk all the time, your sister loves to try to make you smile. She is so sweet with you.
I am just crazy about you. You get annoyed with all my kisses before I leave you in the morning.

Food Truck Park

We had a very low key weekend. We did absolutely nothing yesterday and ended the day today at the Food Truck Park in Fort Worth. We went with a bunch of friends from church. It was a blast, there ware 6 trucks to choose from, tons of picnic tables and lots of shade, which is good since it was 106 today.

Hmmm, what should we have?

Julia ate the icing and Abby ate the cake, they could have shared one cupcake.

Who is that baby?

Andrew found the baby in the mirror. Hey, he is pretty cute!

I love this picture for so many reasons. 1st because Andrew is so cute and discovering something new. 2nd for Julia's sweet face looking up at me enjoying her brothers discovery. 3rd it is me with my babies, what is better than that?

It was the night before work . . .

It was the night before work after maternity leave and all through the house the babies are sleeping and Mommy is sitting teary eyed at the computer blogging.

What a fast 12 weeks. I am shocked that we surveyed and that it passed so quickly. I felt better equipped with Andrew but it was also bitter sweet knowing this would be our last newborn. I truly tired to soak it in and make as many memories as possible. The best part is that it is not over yet, I may be heading back to work but we have so many more things to look forward to.

Say Cheese

Portrait Innovations is our favorite place to go get professional pictures of the kids. They are reasonably priced and do a great job. Today we went with Julia, Valerie and Andrew. It was Andrew's first photoshoot with the girls. He was the center of attention.

Happy 4th of July

Waterpark Fun

Today Renee and I took Julia and Valerie to the Chisolm Park Aquatics Center for some fun in the sun. Both girls were so grown up and played, swam and had snacks.

Valerie got really brave in the water. Before today the water scared her this summer.

Julia is a little fish. She is swimming so good this year.

Julia went up and down this slide about 10 times. She went all by herself, no help needed. Such a big girl!
